Crane Slams Into Freeway Overpass

HOUSTON -- Traffic in one part of southeast Houston came to a halt when a crane slammed into a freeway overpass on Tuesday, KPRC Local 2 reported.Houston police said the accident happened at the intersection of state Highway 225 and Allen Genoa Road at about 11 a.m.The crane was being transported on a utility trailer and was apparently too high to clear the overpass.Investigators are making sure the road's structural integrity was not damaged.No injuries were reported.
