Marijuana Found In 4-Year-Old's Backpack
Child Brought Drugs To School, Police Say
MILWAUKEE -- A 4-year old was found carrying marijuana in his backpack, Milwaukee police said.
A teacher's aide at Burbank Elementary School in Milwaukee found the drugs during class Wednesday, police said.
The boy's mother admitted the pot was hers, WISN-TV in Milwaukee reported.
More drugs were found in her west-side home, according to police.
Neighbors said they are concerned for the two young children living there.
"To put them in a situation where they find pot, or are around it, it's disturbing," neighbor Sara Alberts said.
The mother of the boy was arrested, and her children were placed with child protective services.
