Student Collapses During Class, Dies

HOUSTON -- An intermediate school student collapsed during a class and later died, KPRC Local 2 reported.Klein Independent School District officials said an eighth-grade student collapsed at Hildebrandt Intermediate School on Friday.The student died at a hospital a short time later, officials said.The school's principal sent a note home with students to let parents know what happened.The student's identity and cause of death have not been released.Grief counselors will be on hand Monday to help students cope with the death.
