A 77-year-old Alzheimer's disease patient who was reported missing has been found at a hospital, KPRC Local 2 reported Tuesday.

Texas EquuSearch officials said Mary Ross left Tender Touch Assisted Living on Thursday afternoon for an appointment at a doctor's office in the 2066 block of the West Loop South.

Ross disappeared from the lobby at the doctor's office.

Officials said Ross was found at Methodist Hospital. She was safe and doing well.

Officials said the person in charge at Tender Touch knew about Ross' disappearance, but was not convinced to file a missing persons report until Sunday. Officials said the person in charge did not cooperate in the search for Ross.
