Man Found Dead In Doughnut Truck Identified

POSTED: Thursday, September 27, 2007

A man found dead in a doughnut truck parked in a northeast Houston lot has been identified, KPRC Local 2 reported Wednesday.

Two students found the man's body after they noticed a foul smell in the parking lot of the Texas School of Business at 12010 East Freeway on Monday.

Harris County Medical Examiner's Office officials identified the man as Sithuon Buth.

Investigators said they have not yet determined the cause of Buth's death. His body had begun to decompose.

His employers at Square Donuts had last seen Buth, 47, on Sept. 20. Buth had used a company vehicle to pick up a banner at a northeast Houston business, but never made it to the location.

According to Square Donuts officials, Buth and his wife had recently moved to Houston from the East Coast.
