Motorcyclist Crashes Into Tree, Dies

HOUSTON -- A motorcyclist was killed after he lost control and hit a tree, KPRC Local 2 reported.Houston police said two men were riding motorcycles in the 15000 block of Westheimer Parkway at about 12:30 a.m. Thursday.One of the riders lost control, hit a curb, rode upright on a grassy median and slammed into a tree, officials said.The man was thrown from the bike.He was transported to Ben Taub Hospital, where he died. His identity has not been released.
