HOUSTON -- A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run in northwest Harris County early Saturday, KPRC Local 2 reported.Harris County sheriff's deputies said a man was walking in a crosswalk on state Highway 249 at Northwest Park at about 12:20 a.m.A witness told investigators that a dark-colored pickup truck was traveling northbound on state Highway 249, hit the man and kept going.The man died at the scene. His identity was not released.The pickup truck was described as a late 1990s model.Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
