3-Year-Old Dies After Being Severely Injured

HOUSTON -- A 3-year-old girl died Friday after she was severely injured, KPRC Local 2 reported.Houston police said the girl was rushed to Memorial Hermann Hospital at about 7:15 p.m. and later died. She had multiple bruises and injuries all over her body, investigators said.The girl had been left alone with her mother's boyfriend in an apartment on Fairway Drive near Telephone Road, police said. He has been taken into custody for questioning.Officials have not said when the girl suffered the injuries and bruises.
