Toddler Found Walking Alone On Road

LEAGUE CITY, Texas -- A toddler was found walking alone on a League City road, KPRC Local 2 reported Tuesday.

League City police said the 2-year-old was seen on F.M. 517 shortly after midnight.

Investigators said the boy wandered out of a nearby apartment.

The boy's mother, 32-year-old Angela Denise Jordy, told police that she put the child to sleep on the floor before he woke up and walked out.

Detectives said they believe Jordy may have been intoxicated during the incident.

Jordy was charged with endangering a child.

Child Protective Services is investigating to determine if the child should be returned to Jordy. He and another child are living with a grandmother until the investigation is complete.
