Body Found Floating In Bayou

HOUSTON -- A body was found floating in a bayou near downtown Houston on Wednesday, KPRC Local 2 reported.Houston police said a citizen flagged down an ambulance and told paramedics he saw the body in White Oak Bayou near Hogan Street at about 11:45 a.m.The paramedics went to the location and confirmed a deceased man was caught in some debris.Investigators said the body had likely been in the water for 24 to 48 hours.The Harris County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the man's identity and cause of death.
