Woman Killed While Sitting In SUV

A woman was shot to death while she sat inside a sport utility vehicle, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Harris County sheriff's deputies said Juanita Garza-Rodriguez, 28, was killed in front of her mobile home in the 1400 block of Aldine Mail Route at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Detectives said she had been shot multiple times. She died at the scene.

Investigators said witnesses saw a Hispanic man run from the scene. He is in his mid 30s and 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall with a stocky build and short hair.

Witnesses told officials that the shooter may have been Garza-Rodriguez's boyfriend.

Deputies searched the area but did not find anyone.
