Woman Killed While Sitting In SUV

HOUSTON -- A woman was shot to death while she sat inside a sport utility vehicle, KPRC Local 2 reported.Harris County sheriff's deputies said Juanita Garza-Rodriguez, 28, was killed in front of her mobile home in the 1400 block of Aldine Mail Route at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.Detectives said she had been shot multiple times. She died at the scene.Investigators said witnesses saw a Hispanic man run from the scene. He is in his mid 30s and 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall with a stocky build and short hair.Witnesses told officials that the shooter may have been Garza-Rodriguez's boyfriend.Deputies searched the area but did not find anyone.Anyone with information is asked to contact the Harris County Sheriff's Office at 713-221-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
