Teen Hit By Concrete, Critically Injured

POSTED: Thursday, June 28, 2007

A teenager has been charged after a large piece of concrete he threw critically injured another teen, officials told KPRC Local 2.

Harris County sheriff's deputies said Sarah Kuhlmann, 17, was injured when the concrete was thrown through the windshield of a car she was in on Bur Oak Drive on Thursday at about 12:30 a.m.

Investigators said Ethan Pershall, 17, threw the concrete at the passing car after he had a verbal argument with someone else.

Kuhlmann was taken to Ben Taub Hospital with severe head and neck injuries, officials said. She is in critical but stable condition.

Pershall has been charged with aggravated assault.
