Houston police said the Americash in the 5600 block of Almeda Road has been robbed four times.Officials said a witness recognized the man from surveillance photos from a robbery at a bank in the 5100 block of Main Street on Jan. 4.The man normally uses a weapon during the robberies, police said. He has held employees and customers hostage, officials said.Investigators said the man is black, 30 to 40 years old and 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds.Witnesses said they have seen the man flee in a green minivan with damage on the passenger-side door and a white four-door car believed to be a Toyota Camry.Anyone with information about the man's identity is asked to contact the Houston Police Department Robbery Division at 713-308-0700 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
