UPDATED: 11:43 am CDT April 26, 2007

A Special Olympics coach has been accused of sexually assaulting a mentally retarded woman, KPRC Local 2 reported Thursday.

Johnny G. Villalobos, 65, has been arrested and charged with three counts of sexual assault.

Houston police said an officer spotted a suspicious car in the driveway of an abandoned home in the 2400 block of Green Valley Drive on Monday.

The officer said Villalobos was engaged in a sexual activity with a 29-year-old woman.

Detectives said the woman is mentally retarded and Villalobos is her Special Olympics coach.

Police said Villalobos told them he has had numerous sexual encounters with the woman.

Villalobos was also employed by the Aldine Independent School District as a teacher's aide. After learning of the charges against Villalobos, the school district terminated his employment on Tuesday.

Investigators said it is possible that there are more victims.
