Construction Worker Injured In Fall

HOUSTON -- A construction worker was injured when he fell at a worksite on Wednesday, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Houston Fire Department officials said the worker fell at a building under construction on Gessner Drive near the Katy Freeway at about 7:15 a.m.

The worker fell about one story, officials said.

Officials said the worker suffered an ankle injury and was transported to a nearby hospital in good condition.
