Teen Captured After Escape From Youth Facility

PASADENA, Texas -- A teenager is in custody after he spent about five hours on the run on Friday, KPRC Local 2 reported.
Pasadena police said the 15-year-old escaped from the Harris County Youth Village on J.W. Mills Drives shortly after 8 a.m.
Investigators said the teen ran into a body of water and later came back to shore, but was not captured.
Police tracked the teen down and took him into custody at about 1:30 p.m. Paramedics evaluated him for injuries.
The youth village provides education, medical, therapeutic and drug education and therapy for 15- to 16-year-old boys.
