Chicken Parts Spill Across Freeway

HOUSTON -- Chicken parts spilled onto a freeway and backed up traffic for nearly a mile on Wednesday, KPRC Local 2 reported.

The spill closed two eastbound lanes of the Katy Freeway near Dairy Ashford Road shortly before 10 a.m.

The truck that spilled the parts did not stop.

Crews with the Texas Department of Transportation cleaned up the mess before the lanes were reopened to traffic.
