HOUSTON -- A rescue dog needed a little rescuing of her own after she got stuck in a pipe Sunday, KPRC Local 2 reported.
Ellie, a border collie search dog for
Texas EquuSearch, was outside getting some exercise when she fell down an 18-inch drainage pipe in Pearland.
The pipe was for freshwater drainage at a water treatment plant on Barry Rose Road near Pearland Parkway.
Rescue workers worked for more than five hours to dig Ellie out.
Officials said Ellie was a little tired but seemed OK.
