POSTED: Friday, March 2, 2007

Three men are sought in connection with a man's shooting death in southeast Houston, KPRC Local 2 reported Friday.

Houston police said Enrique Colorado was killed during a robbery in the parking lot of the Scarsdale Park Apartments in the 11800 block of Algonquin Drive at about 11:50 p.m. on Feb. 19.

Investigators said they believe the men followed Colorado to the complex from a convenience store.

Witnesses told police they saw men running through the complex and fleeing in a tan SUV, possible a Toyota Sequoia.

Detectives said all of the men were black. One of the men was about 5 feet 7 inches tall and was wearing black pants. Another man was 6 feet to 6 feet 5 inches tall and was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and white Nike shoes. The third man was 5 feet 7 inches tall and was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
