Fire Breaks Out At Humble High School

A fire broke out at Humble High School on Monday morning, KPRC Local 2 reported.

The Humble Fire Department responded to the blaze at about 6:30 a.m.

A Humble Independent School District spokeswoman said someone broke into the Gym 2 area and started the fire.

The fire was quickly extinguished and firefighters cleared smoke out of the building.

Officials said the gym and a teacher's office were damaged.

The person who started the fire got away, officials said.

The fire has not affected classes.
