$11,000 reward offered in gun store burglary case

CONROE, Texas – An $11,000 reward is being offered for information in the Saddle River Range firearms burglary.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the trade association for the firearms industry and Montgomery County Crime Stoppers teamed up to announce the reward.

Authorities said two men entered Saddle River Range on Saturday at 6:15 a.m., while the store was closed, setting off an alarm.

Montgomery County sheriff's deputies responded to the burglar alarm at the store located at 4280 FM 1488, Conroe, Texas.

Deputies said surveillance video shows three men breaking in through the front door where they shattered the glass, and taking guns from a gun case.

Deputies said the men stole approximately 12 semi-automatic handguns.

Deputies said they are looking for two men and one person who they do not have a clear description of yet because that person was driving the dark-colored SUV they fled in.

One man is described as 16 to 20 years old, 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing about 160-170 pounds. He was wearing a light to medium-colored jacket, black pants, a ski mask, gloves and Jordan Concord 11 sneakers (or similar) and had a backpack in front of his body.

The second man is said to be black,16 to 20 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing about 140 to 150 pounds, with a short Afro. He was wearing a medium colored short-sleeved T-shirt and basketball shorts, with the lower half of his face covered, wearing a backpack with a dark-colored rectangular patch on the front.
