UPDATED: 10:25 am CST February 9, 2007

A man ran off with an expensive watch on his arm after meeting with the seller at a local store, officials told KPRC Local 2.

Investigators said the man advertised the $15,000 Rolex watch and received a call from a man interested in purchasing the watch.

The men agreed to meet at the Super Wal-Mart in the 2700 block of Kirkwood Drive on Dec. 31, authorities said.

The suspected thief tried the watch on and then ran from the store, investigators said

Investigators said the man is white, 20 to 22 years old and 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a thin build. The man has short blonde hair with a visible bald spot, officials said.

Investigators said the man was last seen wearing a T-shirt, shorts and a baseball cap.

The man has a tattoo of the word "AMERICA" on the left side of his neck, the victim said.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 as a reward for information about the case.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. All calls may remain anonymous.
