Pedestrian Struck By Pickup Truck

HOUSTON -- A pickup truck struck a man crossing a road in northeast Houston on Tuesday, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Houston police said the man was struck as he crossed Lee Road near the Eastex Freeway at about 5:30 a.m.

Police said the 26-year-old man was wearing dark clothing and walked into oncoming traffic.

The man was transported to Ben Taub Hospital in critical condition.
