Pickup Truck Hits Flatbed Truck, Driver Killed

POSTED: Tuesday, February 6, 2007

A driver was killed when his pickup truck and a flatbed truck collided in northeast Harris County on Monday, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Harris County sheriff's deputies said the wreck happened on Adlong Johnson Road near Ramsey Loop at about 8:30 p.m.

Officials said the flatbed truck was backing out of a driveway when the pickup truck hit it.

The pickup truck driver suffered fatal injuries, deputies said.

Two passengers in the pickup truck and the flatbed truck driver were transported to hospitals with minor injuries.

Deputies said speed may have been a factor in the collision.
