HOUSTON -- A teen who was on his way to Houston from Louisiana is missing, KPRC Local 2 reported Thursday.Texas EquuSearch officials said Angelo Britton, 16, left his home in Alexandria, La., on Dec. 8. He was headed to his father's home in Houston but never arrived.Britton's car, a 1999 dark blue Toyota Corolla, was found abandoned in a parking lot in the 300 block of Benbrook Drive on Dec. 10.Britton's car was found a few blocks away from Melrose Park, where Wilmer Figueroa, 23, was shot and killed during a carjacking and robbery on the same night.Officials said Britton is black, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 145 pounds.Anyone with information about Britton is asked to contact Texas EquuSearch at 281-309-9500.
