1 man runs after crash in east Houston

Two men ran a  red light and T-boned a man driving an SUV late Saturday night in east Houston, police said.

Two men in a pickup truck were traveling west on the East Freeway Feeder Road at 9:30 p.m. Saturday night, police said.

They were nearing the intersections of Kress Road and East Freeway Feeder Road when they plowed through a red light and T-boned a man driving an SUV, according to police.

The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

One of the men inside the pickup truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and the other ran from the scene, police said.

Upon investigation, police said they found a cooler full of beer in the bed of the pickup truck and a gun.

Police do not yet have a description of the man on the run.
