HOUSTON -

A Houston man was shot to death in a southwest Houston parking lot.

Silas Armando Najera-Hernandez, 23, of Houston, and a second wounded man were transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital Monday morning.

At the hospital, doctors pronounced Najera-Hernandez dead.

According to investigators, Najera-Hernandez and three other men were in a white pickup truck driving around playing loud music on South Gessner Road and Harwin Drive around 3:30 a.m.

Police said the driver of a green Lincoln SUV with darkly-tinted windows was also loudly playing music.

The driver of the SUV shot Najera-Hernandez and a passenger before fleeing the scene, investigators said.

The condition of the second shooting victim has not been released.
