One man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting in north Houston late Friday night.
Houston police said two men were in the driveway of a home on East 43rd near Arlington when they got into an argument with another man about 8:20 p.m.
The third man pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots at the men, police said.
The victims ran after being shot. One ran to food store at the corner of North Main and 42nd and the other ran to a church across the street from where the shooting happened.
Both men were wounded and taken to hospitals. The man who ran to the church died. The other man was taken to Ben Taub Hospital in serious but stable condition.
Detectives said the victims knew the man who shot them. They were all involved in an dispute that had lasted several days, investigators said.
Police have not released the name of the suspect or a description of him.
