One person was killed and another was critically injured when a train hit a vehicle.

Liberty County sheriff's deputies said a driver drove around a crossing arm at railroad tracks on Highway 90 near F.M. 1909 between Liberty and Raywood about 4:30 p.m. Friday.

One person died at the scene. That person's identity has not been released.

A 20-year-old man was taken by helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition. His name has not been released.
