HOUSTON -

One man was seriously injured Friday afternoon after a tank exploded in northeast Harris County.

Harris County firefighters said it happened at Baliff Enterprises in the 8400 block of Airline Drive about 2 p.m.

The owner suffered injuries to his face when the tank exploded. Employees said he was pressurizing the tank with water.

Sheriff's deputies said the owner is expected to survive.

Three other people were outside at the time of the explosion, but none suffered any injuries.

Video from Sky 2 showed several tanks ripped apart and scattered throughout the property.

An investigation into what caused the explosion is ongoing.
