HOUSTON – Police are looking for at least two suspects after a deadly triple shooting in southwest Houston.
According to investigators, shots were fired around 2:30 a.m. Friday at the Sands Point Condominiums.
"The apartment looked like it had forced entry," said Sgt. C.E. Elliott, a homicide detective with the Houston Police Department. "It looked to be some sort of home invasion, and there were a lot of narcotics in the apartment."
Moments later emergency crews arrived. The man who lived inside of the apartment died at the scene. Two others were taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds.
"I heard two shots, and then I heard the man scream," said a young mother who was sleeping in her nearby apartment. "After a while, I didn't hear him screaming anymore, but someone kept shooting."
Investigators believe the suspects left in a dark colored car.
