Jarron Alexander Nealy charged in Jason Thomas Whetstein's death

DICKINSON, Texas – Dickinson police filed a murder charge against a 19-year-old man in connection with a stabbing.

Police charged Jarron Alexander Nealy on Thursday. He was being held on a $100,000 bond.

Dickinson police responding to reports of a stabbing found 30-year-old Jason Thomas Whetstein lying in the courtyard of an apartment complex in the 3500 Block of Baker Drive about 11:58 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

Whetstein was transported to Mainland Center Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Nealy admitted that he stabbed Whetstein, police said.
