1 arrested, 1 at large after car burglary at Texas Children's Hospital

HOUSTON – A man is in custody and one is was still at large Wednesday after a car burglary at Texas Children's Hospital, police said.

A security guard spotted the two men on surveillance video around 12:30 a.m. breaking into a car at the West Campus off Katy Freeway near Barker Cypress.

The men fled on foot when the security guard attempted to catch them, police said.

One of the men was caught after he was hit by a Taser. The other man is on the run.

Investigators said the men drove to Texas Children's Hospital in a white pickup truck that was stolen in March. They believe that the same vehicle has been used in several other burglaries.
