Pump Patrol: Save 44 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.31. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 44 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Thursday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• Texaco, East Broadway & Dixie Farm Rd., Pearland: $2.99
  
• Buc-ee's, Hwy 35 & FM 517, Alvin: $2.94
  
• CITGO, West Parkwood Ave. & Sun Meadow Blvd., Friendswood: $2.87
