Pump Patrol: Save 36 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.56. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 36 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Friday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• Valero, Wirt Rd. & Westview Dr., Northwest Houston: $3.62 for diesel
  
• CITGO, West Parkwood Ave. & Sun Meadow Blvd., Friendswood: $3.53 for diesel
  
• Sam's Club, Hwy 6 & University Blvd., Sugar Land: $3.20 for regular
