Pump Patrol: Save 33 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.49. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 33 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Thursday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• CITGO, North Gordon St. & Hwy 6, Alvin: $3.29
  
• Sam's Club, East Fwy & Haden Rd., East Houston: $3.29
  
• Murphy USA, Gulf Fwy & FM 1764, Texas City: $3.16
