Pump Patrol: Save 31 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $2.91. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 31 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Friday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• Sam's Club, Southwest Fwy. & West Airport, Stafford: $3.03
  
• Buc-ee's, Crabb River Rd. & Sansbury, Richmond, $2.94
  
• Murphy USA, Dixie Farm Rd. & FM 518, Pearland: $2.91
