Pump Patrol: Save 29 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.18. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 29 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Tuesday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• Kroger, Red Bluff Road near Preston Road in Pasadena: $2.89
• Conoco, West Parkwood Avenue near San Joaquin Parkway in Friendswood: $2.91
• Murphy USA, East Highway 6 near East Alvin Bypass in Alvin: $2.92
