Pump Patrol: Save 29 cents a gallon on diesel

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of diesel gas in Houston is $3.82. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 29 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Friday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• Kroger, N. Alexander Dr., & Ward Rd., Baytown: $3.55 for diesel
  
• CITGO, Homestead Rd. & Winfield, North Houston: $3.53 for diesel
  
• Conoco, Broadway & Lawndale, Southeast Houston: $3.00 for unleaded
