Pump Patrol: Save 27 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.42. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 27 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Monday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• Sam's Club, Hwy 290 & West Rd., Northwest Houston: $3.22
  
• Kroger, Red Bluff Rd & Preston Rd., Pasadena: $3.21
  
• Shell, Spring Green Blvd. & Cinco Terrace Dr., Katy: $3.15
