Pump Patrol: Save 26 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.05. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 26 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Thursday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• Sam's Club, SW Fwy & Airport Blvd., Stafford: $2.87
  
• Murphy USA, Beechnut & Kirkwood, Southwest Houston: $2.86
  
• Bay Bright, Main St. & Interban, League City: $2.79
