Pump Patrol: Save 26 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.56. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 26 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Wednesday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• H-E-B, FM 1960 & Atascocita Rd., Alvin: $3.40
  
• Kroger, Hwy 6 & FM 1092, Missouri City: $3.35
  
• Gulf, Hwy 288 & Holcombe Blvd., Texas Medical Center: $3.30
