Pump Patrol: Save 24 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston on Friday was $3.73. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 24 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Friday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• Sam's Clun, South Loop near Fannin: $3.49
• Raceway, Main near Beltway 8 in Pearland: $3.62
• Valero, Will Clayton Parkway near Wilson Road in Humble: $3.70
