Pump Patrol: Save 22 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.40. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 22 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Thursday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• CITGO, West Broadway St. & Oday Rd., Pearland: $3.23
  
• Kroger, Red Bluff Rd. & Preston Rd., Pasadena: $3.21
  
• Murphy USA, Gulf Fwy & Rowlett Rd., Southeast Houston: $3.18
