Pump Patrol: Save 20 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.41. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 20 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Friday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• CITGO, Hwy 35 & AM 517, Alvin: $3.35 for diesel
  
• Murphy USA, FM 518 & Hwy 146, League City: $3.47 for premium
  
• Kroger, Red Bluff Rd. & Preston, Pasadena: $3.21 for regular
