Pump Patrol: Save 18 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston on Thursday was $3.87. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 18 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Thursday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• Valero, Clay Road near Jura Drive: $3.69
• HEB, F.M. 1488 near Kuykendahl in The Woodlands: $3.69
• Kroger, Fry Road near West Little York in Katy: $3.71
