Pump Patrol: Save 18 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.14. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 18 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Friday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• CITGO, Red Bluff & McNay Dr., Pasadena: $2.98
  
• Valero, FM 1960 & Cypress Station Dr., North Houston: $2.97
  
• Murphy USA, FM 1960 & Walters Rd., Northwest Houston: $2.96
