Pump Patrol: Save 18 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.42. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 18 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Wednesday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• Sam's Club, Southwst Fwy & West Airport, Stafford: $3.30
  
• Kroger, Brazos Tow Crossing & Reading Rd., Rosenberg: $3.26
  
• CITGO, Hwy 35 & Donaldson Rd., Alvin: $3.24
