Pump Patrol: Save 18 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.34. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 18 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Monday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• Kroger, Hwy 35 & FM 1462, Alvin: $3.18
  
• H-E-B, South Fry Rd. & Grand Parkway, Katy: $3.18
  
• Murphy USA, Gulf Fwy & FM 1764, Texas City: $3.16
