Pump Patrol: Save 18 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.54. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 24 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Wednesday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• Murphy USA, Highway 249 & Theiss Lane in Tomball: $3.30
• Gulf, Highway 288 & Holcombe Boulevard: $3.30
• Exxon, South Alexander & East Texas Avenue in Baytown: $3.34
